Declarant Turnover Letter to Homeowners

February 2025

RE:  Release from Declarant to Homeowners

Dear Collins Creek Landing Homeowners,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the Collins Creek Landing Homeowners Association.  As part of the transition process from the Declarant to the homeowners, we are pleased to announce that the Declarant has officially completed their obligations and is now releasing control of the community to the homeowners.

This release signifies the conclusion of the Declarant’s role in overseeing the community, and it marks the beginning of a new chapter for Collins Creek Landing.  Moving forward, the governance of the community will be fully under the direction of the homeowners, who will now have the ability to vote on key decisions, including elections for the Board of Directors.

The Declarant’s release has officially taken effect on January 1, 2025.  Homeowners will be able to elect 2 new Board Members at the Annual Meeting on May 15, 2025.  A formal notice of a Call for Candidates will be forthcoming in the near future.

We encourage you to actively participate in the upcoming nominations to ensure that your voice is heard in the future decisions that shape our community.

We look forward to a smooth transition and a bright future under homeowner leadership.  Should you have any questions or need additional information regarding this change, please do not hesitate to reach out via email to cheryla@waccamawmanagement.com

Thank you for your attention and we appreciate your cooperation during this transition.

Sincerely,

Drew Hanna
